These terms govern your use of TravellingShoes services and website. Please read them carefully before booking a trip or using our platform.

Last updated: 21 May 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TravellingShoes for the use of our website at www.travellingshoes.in and all travel planning services provided by us. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

01

Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or booking a trip through TravellingShoes, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in full
  • Where you book on behalf of others, you have their authority to do so and accept these Terms on their behalf
  • All information you provide to us is accurate, complete, and up to date
02

Our Services

TravellingShoes is a travel planning and curation service. We design personalised travel itineraries and coordinate travel-related services on your behalf, including:

  • Accommodation booking (hotels, resorts, homestays, villas)
  • Ground transfers and local transportation
  • Curated experiences, activities, and day tours
  • Travel itinerary design and end-to-end trip planning
  • Pre- and post-travel support via WhatsApp

Please note: TravellingShoes does not include international or domestic airfare in our packages unless explicitly stated in writing. Flight bookings are the responsibility of the traveller unless agreed otherwise.

03

Bookings & Payments

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment specified in your trip quotation and written confirmation from TravellingShoes.

Advance Payment

A non-refundable advance (typically 25–50% of the total trip cost) is required to confirm your booking. The exact amount will be stated in your personalised quotation.

Balance Payment

The remaining balance is due no later than 15 days before your departure date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Pricing

All prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are valid for 48 hours from the date of the quotation, unless otherwise stated. Prices are per person and exclude airfare unless explicitly mentioned.

Price Variations

In rare circumstances beyond our control (such as sudden changes in hotel rates, government taxes, or currency fluctuations for international trips), we reserve the right to adjust pricing with prior notice to you.

04

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation charges apply from the date we receive your written cancellation request. Please refer to our full Cancellation Policy for complete details, timelines, and refund procedures.

Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 7–14 business days to your original payment method. Advance payments are generally non-refundable unless the cancellation is due to a force majeure event.

05

Your Responsibilities

As a traveller booking with TravellingShoes, you are responsible for:

  • Holding a valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond your travel dates
  • Obtaining all required visas, travel permits, and entry documents for your destination(s)
  • Purchasing adequate travel insurance including medical, trip cancellation, and baggage cover
  • Providing accurate personal and travel information at the time of booking
  • Arriving at departure points (airports, stations, hotels) at the required times
  • Behaving in a manner that is respectful of local laws, customs, and cultures
  • Informing us of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or special needs before travel
06

Our Liability

TravellingShoes acts as an organiser and coordinator of travel services provided by independent third-party suppliers. While we take great care in selecting our partners, we are not directly liable for:

  • Any act, omission, or default of third-party hotels, transport operators, or experience providers
  • Delays, cancellations, or changes caused by weather, natural disasters, political events, or other force majeure circumstances
  • Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during travel
  • Any personal injury, illness, or death unless caused directly by our proven negligence
  • Failure to obtain required travel documents, visas, or permits

In all cases where liability is established, our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to TravellingShoes for the affected trip booking.

07

Travel Documents & Visas

It is your sole responsibility to ensure you hold all necessary travel documents before departure. TravellingShoes can provide general guidance on visa requirements for popular destinations, but this does not constitute legal or official immigration advice.

We strongly recommend verifying entry requirements directly with the relevant embassy or consulate, or through official government portals. TravellingShoes accepts no liability for denied boarding, refused entry, or deportation due to insufficient or incorrect documentation.

08

Health & Safety

You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to travel and aware of any health advisories for your destination. We recommend:

  • Consulting a medical professional before travel, particularly for destinations with specific health risks
  • Carrying adequate prescription medication and a copy of your medical records if relevant
  • Reviewing government travel advisories (e.g., India MEA, UK FCDO) before travel
  • Purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes emergency medical evacuation
09

Third-Party Suppliers

Hotels, transport providers, experience operators, and other travel service providers (“Suppliers”) are independent businesses. When you use their services, you are also subject to their own terms and conditions.

TravellingShoes carefully vets all Suppliers, but cannot be held responsible for changes in their services, quality, or operations after booking. In the event of a Supplier failure, we will use our best efforts to provide a suitable alternative of equivalent standard.
